Scripture: Genesis 8:14-21

Meditation: After the flood, Noah, his family and all of the other occupants of the ark finally got to stand on dry ground again! They must have been so relieved to have a fresh start, and maybe even a little scared. What does it feel like to get a brand new start?

Prayer: God, thank you for new beginnings. As we wait for Jesus’ birth, we remember all the ways you help us start over each day. Amen.
