Water to Thrive became a non-profit 10 years ago this month, and in its decade of existence has funded more than 800 water projects serving more than 450,000 people in rural east Africa.

Water to Thrive has set an ambitious goal for its anniversary year — to reach a total of 1,000 wells funded by the end of 2018. It takes $5,000 to fully fund a water project, and we are searching for donors with the heart and spirit to lead their own fundraising campaign.

The team has also scheduled several other observances throughout the year…an anniversary celebration, a commemorative trip to Ethiopia to visit at least one project site and area served from each of W2T’s 10 years, and a special Climb for Clean Water to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in our service nation of Tanzania, raising funds and awareness to support our ongoing mission.
