About the Campaign

Water to Thrive is near and dear to Dick’s heart and what better way to demonstrate our appreciation of his service to Thrivent than to support the organization he is most passionate about. Help us honor Dick by contributing to this campaign.
As Dick shared during his devotion, what started with humble beginnings with his local congregation, led to working with the local Thrivent RFO in Texas, and connected a passion for water, taking action to provide introductions to local Thrivent chapters and Lutheran churches… and as they say the rest is history…in a little over 9 years, W2T has supporters all across the US who have decided not to be indifferent to this need but acted together to fund over 750 water projects in East Africa, providing clean water to over 450,000 beneficiaries that have never experienced the blessing of clean water before. Every day, our projects pump more than 2.5 million gallons of water for their communities.
