About the Campaign
On March 22, the United Nations’ World Water Day was observed to spotlight the critical global issue of water scarcity and water as a human right. As part of our observance, Water to Thrive used that day to launch a campaign to fully fund a water project in honor of its hard-working team members who have brought us through our first decade of service.
With the dedicated efforts of a handful of staff, interns, and volunteers, Water to Thrive has found funding for nearly 1,000 wells, bringing the blessing of clean, safe water to more than half a million people. The fundraiser will also go on to raise the additional 10 percent for our Drop by Drop Fund to sustain our operations and our mission.
