Zach and Devan’s Wedding Well

About the Campaign

Zach and Devan are having their wedding celebration in June, and typically when people have weddings, guests will give presents to the bride and groom. Zach and Devan already have everything they could need, and desire to do something bigger with the gifts they could receive from their loved ones: They want to sponsor a well in Africa! Zach and Devan chose the verse above to represent their purpose in sponsoring this well because they want to provide hope for people who are dying every day from drinking filthy water. God has given them hope in many ways, and they’re feeling called to share that hope with God’s people around the world.
Devan has been volunteering with Water to Thrive since July of 2016 and recently started working there part time in December. She has had the joy of seeing the ways people are able to bless their brothers and sisters in rural and poor areas in East Africa by providing clean and safe water to them. Devan and Zach are eager to help provide the blessing of a water well in Africa as well, and hope their family and friends will jump on board with them! For their wedding registry, they are asking that their guests donate to fund a well! When $5,000 is raised, Devan will keep all the people who donated in the loop of where the well is built, how many people the well is benefiting, and send them all a picture of the final product!
