About the Campaign

The Zion Zippers and Zion Lutheran Church members would like to partner with Water to Thrive and raise funds for our third well in East Africa!

We believe that clean water is vital to supporting quality of life. The positive impact of safe drinking water for a community, not only effects health, but also education and overall prosperity. The burden of carrying water usually falls on women and children. When children are free from the task of walking long distances for dirty water, they can spend their time attending school. When women are free from collecting water far from their homes, they are able to spend more time caring for their families and earning a living.
