The Faulkner family at Faith Lutheran Church wants to support Ethiopia by helping to provide clean water.
“When you drink dirty water it’s really yucky and bad for you! Then it will make you sick. And you stay home and you lay down all day. But if you drink clean water, it’s good for you and you are fine and then you can play outside. You can play hide and seek with your friends, and go to school.” – Eve Holder, age 6
Welcome to the Tree of Life Water Initiative page, campaigning for clean water in rural Africa!
Thank you for supporting our campaign to bring clean, safe drinking water to those who so desperately need it. All too often we take for granted the quick and easy access that we have to clean water at any time of day. For so many people in the world, this is not the case. Instead, their only sources of water are dirty and polluted, causing death and disease. We want to change that and bring hope to a community in Ethiopia. We appreciate your support of our campaign as we work to raise $5,000 to bring clean water to children and families in Ethiopia. #herewegrow2014
The St. Clements Roman Catholic Church and the St. Clements Regional Catholic School of Saratoga Springs, NY, are partnering with the Water To Thrive foundation to “give drink to the thirsty” and bring a mission of hope by building wells that supply springs of clean water to the people of Tigray. 100% of all tax-deductible donations received in the next six months will go toward the construction of well systems in the region at a cost of $5,000 per well, with each well serving a village of up to 500 people. That’s $10 per person, for life.
The people of Faith Lutheran Church invite you to be a part of this exciting opportunity to bring the blessing of clean water to those living in a parched land.
On March 22 2014, Water to Thrive will observe World Water Day to promote awareness and observe critical water issues that impact the entire world. Each year, World Water Day develops an objective and “Water and Energy” will be the focus in 2014. To learn more about this year’s focus, check out the UN’s World Water Day website. This is W2T’s World Water Day Tanzania Campaign Page, and we need YOUR help to reach OUR goal by March 22! Our goal is to fund a well in each country for World Water Day ($5,000/per well) and raise funds in the General W2T World Water Day Campaign to support our efforts.
The Canyon Vista Middle School Choir Group is raising money to bring clean, safe drinking water to rural Africa by collecting the funds to build a water well. Thanks for your support!
