The New Year is here, and Water to Thrive wants to continue highlighting passionate people.

First person in 2014?  Bev!

Bev went on a life-changing trip to Ethiopia and became so moved by her experience, she launched a birthday campaign to fund an entire well.  Her passion and compassion was evident.  Her friends quickly donated towards the cause for her birthday, raising enough money for an entire water project!  One friend even got so inspired by Bev’s heart to help, she donated enough money for an entire well.

This year, Bev is working with her congregation in San Antonio, Texas to fund at least two more wells.  By spreading the message to her network, educating them on the cause and gaining their support, Bev is definitely making a difference and helping provide clean water the people of East Africa.
