This will be short as it was travel day, however I thought I would share a bit of info from a long day in the vehicle.

Our day was in the Toyota Land Cruiser – just before leaving Hawassa we made one stop.

Our stop was at the fish market on the shore of Lake Hawassa and this young man was tossing small fish to the pelicans.  Yes that is the fish about to enter the open bill of the pelican.

Our coffee stop.  It is so unusual to find these types of oasis as we travel as it is not what we see in the county side.  It was a coffee stop.

A market beside the road selling potatoes, onions and tomatoes.  Off left they were selling fish and off right watermelon.

Our final stop was for lunch on this lake formed from a crater.  It is about 250 feet deep.  Our travel was about 250 miles with many road hazards – animals, broken down vehicles and heavy traffic as we were near the large city of Addis Ababa.
